Pokemon GO November Community Day (ft. Pikipek): Best tips, shiny odds, hundo CP, and more

The Pokemon GO November Community Day features Pikipek, the regional bird from the Alola region. The event will run from 2 pm to 5 pm local time on November 30, 2025, with some bonuses extending up to 9 pm local time on the day, and some lasting up to 10 pm local time on December 7, 2025.

Shiny Pikipek, Shiny Trumbeak, and Shiny Toucannon will also debut during the November Community Day in Pokemon GO. This article covers all the features and bonuses from the event.

Features

Wild encounter

• Pikipek [shiny available and boosted to 1-in-25 odds]

Wild Pikipek can also have the seasonal special background.

Lure Module encounter

Pikipek will also appear in large numbers around Lure Modules activated during the November Community Day event. This bonus will apply from 2 to 9 pm local time on November 30, which means you can have boosted shiny odds for the creature for four hours after the main event ends.

Featured attack

Evolve Trumbeak (Pikipek's evolution) between 2 pm local time on November 30 and 10 pm local time on December 7, 2025, to get a Toucannon that knows the Charged Attack Beak Blast.

Beak Blast

• Trainer Battles: 110 power (also guaranteed to lower the target's attack by one stage)
• Gyms and raids: 125 power

Bonuses

• 3× XP for catching Pokwmon.
• 2× Candy for catching Pokwmon.
• 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokwmon.
• Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise.
• Lure Modules will last for one hour and may attract the featured Pokemon.*
• One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three for the day.*
• Trades will require 50% less Stardust.*

Play with friends and community members

Playing with more friends not only makes the event more fun, but it also increases the number of encounters you see around you. Activate Party Play for bonuses and join official local communities for access to Pokemon GO Campfire Timed Research quests.

Mega Evolve a Normal- or Flying-type

Pikipek is a Normal- and Flying-type. Therefore, having one of the following creatures Mega Evolved will increase the amount of Candy received from each catch:

• Mega Pidgeot
• Mega Lopunny
• Mega Kangaskhan
• Mega Audino
• Mega Rayquaza
• Mega Salamence
• Mega Aerodactyl
• Mega Charizard Y

Use Lucky Eggs

You can use a Lucky Egg to increase the amount of XP you receive from each catch. This will help you on your Level 80 journey in Pokemon GO.

Evolve Trumbeak

Evolve Trumbeak, particularly if you have the Shadow variant during the November Community Day in Pokemon GO to get the exclusive attack, Beak Blast, on Toucannon.
