Eager Tenno will be happy to know that Warframe's The Old Peace update already has an officially confirmed release time. Coming on December 10 (Wednesday), this end-of-year update will put you back in the Operator's footsteps to explore Tau during the Old War, and set up the events of what DE is calling the "Void War" saga in Warframe's story arc.
With many returning players, the big hook here might be the Operator/Drifter visual remaster, bringing Warframe's spoiler-mode (barely these days) character creation to modern tech standards. So if you're trying to check when exactly The Old Peace will go live for your region, we've got you covered.
What time does Warframe The Old Peace go live?
As now confirmed by Digital Extremes, Warframe: The Old Peace will be releasing this Wednesday at 11:00 am EST (4:00 pm UTC). Other than the usual Wednesday release typical of major Warframe updates, the 11am ET release time has also been a time-honored Digital Extremes tradition. The update is going to be concurrent across all platforms (save for the ongoing Android Closed Beta).

What to do before the release of Warframe The Old Peace?

One of the new things Warframe is trying with this update is a quest-skip (now rebranded as a mission-unlock) that lets you, well, get to the new game modes right away. So if you want to just play Perita Rebellion and Descendia, you can skip past the natural unlock order to do that anytime regardless of your progression level, but be prepared for high-level content.
Meanwhile, if you want to play through The Old Peace quest, you have to beat the Warframe main missions at least up till The Lotus Eaters. If you're still too far behind (think New War far behind), you might not have enough time left. However, there's still something else you can try to capitalize on Update 41: maxing out your Syndicate Standing!
Casual reminder: Gyre Prime is also coming tomorrow, so if you keep your neutral Syndicate Standing capped, you can buy a bunch of Relic Packs right after it drops.
The patch notes for Update 41 are also supposed to arrive at the given release time (11 am EST), but if you want a primer, here's all the features of The Old Peace known so far.
