As explained in Warframe Devstream 190, the November Devstream was going to be the final showpiece on The Old Peace. Digital Extremes has delivered as promised. In this final Devstream to wrap up 2025, we got our first look at the Perita Rebellion game mode coming with this update, as well as the release date of the update itself.
There's a lot to talk about, so without further ado, here's an abridged version of what was revealed in Devstream 191.
Warframe Devstream 191 overview: Everything you need to know
There's a bunch of housekeeping stuff discussed in Devstream 191, but we are going to sideline them for now to go through The Old Peace information first:
- The Old Peace release date
- Vinquibus, the first Bayonet-type weapon
- Uriel abilities
- Perita Rebellion game mode
- Operation: Blood of Perita
- and more!
We also got information about TennoCon 2026 tickets, the first Deluxe bundle coming in 2026, and more, which I have taken the liberty to cram at the end of this article.
The Old Peace is coming December 10 (and more to be revealed in The Game Awards)
For those out of the loop, The Old Peace is the next chapter in Warframe's story, and it's going to set up the direction and theme of the updates coming in 2026. The Old Peace (Update 41) itself, coming December 10, features a new Devil-themed Warframe, an hour-long cinematic quest, and two new game modes to grind after that.
However, Digital Extremes has more to present on December 11, the day after in Warframe's The Game Awards panel. Most likely, we are getting some vertical slices on what to expect from Warframe in 2026. As of Devstream 191, though, we didn't get many hints on what that could be about (other than a continuation of the Void Wars story arc, and Tau as a setting to be explored further).
Vinquibus, the first-ever primary-melee hybrid weapon

Uriel's signature weapon is Vinquibus, the first-ever "Bayonet" weapon. This new weapon type will occupy both the primary and melee weapon slots once you equip it. Both of these forms can be modded indepdently of each other.
The Vinquibus also has a unique trait where melee kills grant ammo efficiency, and headshot kills grant melee damage.
Uriel's Warframe abilities
Uriel's general idea as a devil-frame was discussed before, but Devstream 191 is where we got details on his Warframe abilities. Passively, Uriel will have three infernal minions doing his bidding:
- Cagnach, the first minion, intermittently chains multiple enemies. These enemies are slowed, and damageing one of them also damages the other chained enemies.
- The second minion will periodically grab and crowd-control an individual enemy. Killing this enemy creates a tempoary ring of fire on the ground.
- Bithalus, the third minion, sacrifices corpses to crate elemental runes. Picking these up grants you fire rate, and converts your next few shots to have elementally empowered rounds, such that they have an extra instance of pure Fire damage (plus status proc) on top of the original hit.
As for the actual abilities:
- First ability coats you in infernal blackflames, and you can infinitely glide around at will like a meteor. Moving around also creates a trail of fire that damages enemies.
- Second ability cleanses status effects, heals you and your minions, and revives fallen minions.
- Third ability casts an infernal curse on enemies in your line of sight, debuffing them with Damage Vulnerability. If you have your first ability active, they are also coated in the same flames, and they create fiery trails if moving around.
- Interacting with what your minions are doing (as explained above) will fill up a bar to the bottom-right corner. Filling this bar and casting your fourth ability does a big fire nuke around you.
Devil's Triad vendors
By talking to Marie in La Cathedrale, you can access the Tektalyst Artifacts, i.e. Tauron Strikes aligned with each Focus school. These requires materials obtainable from the Perita Rebellion mission rewards.
Meanwhile, Roathe lets you interact with the new Title system to obtain "Honorias", i.e. titles to display on your profile. Each honoria requires a good amount of theme-appropriate materials from various folds of Warframe content.
Tektalyst Arficat modding and Focus school expansion

Each Focus school tree is getting expanded with new nodes to empower the Tauron-strike tech. However, on top of this, you can individually mod your Tektalyst weapon of choice, which has a brand-new weapon slot equippable on your Operator/Drifter. Here, you can slot five mods and one Arcane, out of a completely new pool of mods and Arcanes increasing various Operator/Drifter stats - sprint speed, armor, health, shields, and Amp damage/crit/status.
Meanwhile, as for the Tauron Strikes themselves, they will have their initial attack (imagine it as a special attack you can aim) and then unique after-effects.
Operation: Blood of Perita

Operation: Blood of Perita will take place this December alongside The Old Peace update, with new cosmetics and equipment rewards. A highlighted cosmetic reward was the banner-on-the-back Syandana featured in Devstream 191.
You'll need to play the Perita Rebellion game mode to progress the Operation. Naturally, this will require the completion of The Old Peace quest and access to Roathe in La Catehdrale, so to give players some time to prepare, the Operation only starts on December 16.
Perita Rebellion game mode

Accessible from the Dark Refectory (Navigation), the Perita Rebellion lets your Operator recall one of three boss fights: Huhullus, Dactolyst, and the Prime Vanguard.
This mode is essentially a time-limited 12 minute run at the battlefield on Perita, the Tau moon. Before you face the final boss, you are incentivized to complete as many objectives as you can, as completing each gives you a stat buff. The buff itself depends on the Tauron Strike you have chosen on the mission screen (which of course also switches your Tauron Strike to use that Tektalyst Artifact).
As for the bosses, Devstream 191 only showed most of the Hunhullus fight. Standout features other than the boss' collossal size is that it's similar to Eidolons somewhat, as you'll have to take down various weak points to open up the boss to damage (and the various grapple points throughout the fight gives makes it very aerial in nature, as the floor is practically void-lava).
Another nice tidbit is about the Anarch faction, which is mostly composed of Grineer and Dax soldiers, but also the ocassional enemy Primed Warframe as a miniboss encounter.
Quest-skip for option new players to play Descendia and Perita Rebellion
To play The Old Peace quest, you must clear the main quests of Warframe up till (and including) The Lotus Eaters mini-quest. This quest is, of course, a prerequisite to play the two new game modes (Descendia and Perita Rebellion), but if you want to skip past the prerequisites as a new player to "just play the latest update", there's going to be an option to do that.
This will only be available for these two game modes, and there's going to be some more railguards to avoid breaking the pace:
- If you choose to use this skip to access these game modes, you can only public-matchmake if your Mastery Rank is above 9.
- This mode is spoiler-free, so there's going to be some cut content.
- The difficulty or level scaling is not going to be adjusted to fit to the level of the player's progression, so a greenhorn Tenno will find it to be incredibly hard.
This is primarily meant to help returning players who haven't caught up to post-New War stuff, but want to sample the new game modes, including the weekly Descendia rewards.
TennoCon 2026 tickets go online in February
TennoCon 2026 tickets are going to be on sale February 27, 4 pm EST. This time, other than the usual $50 CAD ticket and $150 CAD VIP ticket, there's going to be two $1000 CAD "Legendary" tickets that lets you have a meet-and-greet with the Digital Extremes sound team. Two tickets literally means there's two of them in stock (for now).
CEO Steve Sinclar is doing a two-hour solo concert in the next TennoConcert. "It will all make sense" later, the Devstream team says.
Dagath Deluxe Skin coming Feburary 2026

To celebrate the Lunar new year (year of the horse), a new Dagath Deluxe skin is coming to the market in February 2026. For those who don't have this Warframe yet, you can grab Dagath via some timed alerts in January 2026 to prepare the stampede of the phantom horses in time. However, Devstream 191 did not reveal what exact date this alert will take place.
Of course, the seal the "year of the horse" theme, there's also going to be a Kaithe Deluxe Skin (+related floof) as part of the collection.
Other misc details
Here's some more miscellaneous bits of information dropped during Devstream 191:
- A PAX East panel for Warframe will take place in March 28, 2026 (3-4 pm EST). Warframe certainly has big plans for Q1 2026.
- Tennobaum 2025 has kicked off, with the usual community gift goals (which means more freebies throughout December 2025 and January and 2026)
- A new Primed Resurgence event will begin in 2025 (including the six Primes featured in the Prime Vanguard boss in Perita Rebellion)
- A Gift of the Lotus Alert has gone live post-stream, the rewards being a Primary Arcane Adapter + a Melee Arcane Adapter (so as to get your Vinquibus battle-ready).
