The Service of Luzaku is a seasonal exotic weapon in Destiny 2: Renegades. There are two ways you can get this exotic machine gun:

You can get it on Day 1 by purchasing the paid season pass.
You can unlock it at level 70 by grinding and climbing the free-to-play season pass.

Once the weapon is available to you, it can progress further up the season pass to level 90, where you can obtain its Exotic Catalyst.

Every time you deal damage using the weapon, you build up a restorative charge.
While it's charged, hip-fire at allies to heal them. This healing does not consume ammo, and it simultaneously reloads the weapon from reserves.
Rapid healing allies significantly boost weapon damage. This effect is temporary.
Healed allies spawn Threadlings.

This perk turns the machine gun into the ultimate active support weapon, as healing allies increases your damage output.

Intrinsic trait: Meaning-Making

While Dichotomous Thinking turns the Service of Luzaku into a healer, the Meaning-Making intrinsic trait turns it into a Strand Summoner. Here are its effects:

It creates a temporary Threadling Nest, which spawns Threadlings every few seconds.
Slaying enemies near the Threadling Nest will create additional Threadlings.

At level 90 in the season pass, you will acquire the Exotic Catalyst, which further enhances the Strand ability of the weapon:

Healing Nests using hip-fire will prolong their presence and lead to their maturity.
Interacting with a mature Threading Nest will grant a Strand Tangle instantly.

This synergy between healing and summoning makes the Service of Luzaku especially effective in dense combat scenarios.
