As the curtains have already closed on Path of Exile 2's The Third Edict league, many are awaiting the release time of patch 0.4. As always, GGG has announced the start time of the upcoming Fate of The Vaal League in advance, but unsurprisingly, most eyes are set on the Druid class and its Shapeshifting shenanigans, and the unpredictable quirks of its two Ascendancies.

So if you're gearing up to experience the day-one patch when the meta is still soft, here's the start time for Path of Exile 2 patch 0.4, Last of The Druids.

When does Path of Exile 2's 0.4.0 League begin?

As confirmed by GGG, Path of Exile 2 patch 0.4.0, alongside the new League, starts 11 am PST (7 pm UTC) on December 12, 2025. This is when you'll get to download the patch (and if you pre-loaded the game, this is when you can queue up for a Fate of the Vaal character).

Here's what the release time of PoE2 0.4 looks like in various timezones across the world:

• United States and South America: 11 am PST / 12 pm MST / 1 pm CST / 2 pm EST / 2 pm BRT (December 12, 2025)
• Europe: 7 pm GMT / 7 pm UTC / 8 pm CEST / 9 pm EET (December 12, 2025)
• Africa: 10 pm SAST (December 12, 2025)
• Asia: 11 pm GST (December 12) / 12:30 am IST (December 13) / 2 am PHT (December 13) / 2 am CST (Beijing Time; December 13) / 3 am JST/KST (December 13, 2025)

These release times are also applicable to console players, who can enjoy PoE2 0.4 at the same time. In fact, for the first two days of the League, anyone can get a sample of this ARPG without buying it, because GGG is lifting the floodgates on its second Path of Exile 2 free weekend.

Meanwhile, those who played at any time in 0.3 will find their characters from that League migrated to the permanent realm (HC/SSF status is maintained with the corresponding realms).
