Path of Exile 2: All new crafting items in League 0.4 (Last of the Druids)

Path of Exile 2’s Last of the Druids update is bringing a set of new crafting items to the game. Unlike regular crafting items, they aren’t part of the ground loot and are only available through the new League mechanics. To find them, you’ll need to enter the Temple of Atziri and navigate through different chambers to find the loot and reach the Queen of the Vaal.

Since the update leans heavily into the Vaal civilization, all items are related to Corruption and to modifying gear using double-corruption, granting them interesting stats. Here’s every new crafting item in Path of Exile 2 League 0.4.

Architect's Orb

Modifies a Corrupted Equipment or Jewel item unpredictably or destroys it. This item works similarly to a Vaal Orb, but for already corrupted items, allowing you to corrupt it twice. You can get it from the Tier 3 Corruption Chamber within the Temple of Atziri.

Vaal Siphoner

Adds a kill threshold to a Corrupted Rare Jewellery item. It is similar to using an Incubator in PoE 1. When the threshold is met, the Siphoner will use a random modifier to improve the numeric values of other modifiers. It is currently unknown if the effect will remove the mod or lower its tier.

Vaal Cultivation Orb

This Orb replaces up to 2 modifiers on a Corrupted Vaal Unique with one of many Vaal cultivation modifiers. The resulting roll can make the item strong, or brick it entirely. When used on a non-Vaal unique item, the Vaal Cultivation Orb will change it into another corrupted unique of the same item class, e.g, a unique belt will transform into another corrupted unique belt. Get this item from a Tier 3 Sacrificial Chamber.

Core Destabiliser

Armor isn’t the only thing you’ll be modifying as the Core Destabiliser grants the ability to alter the effects of a Soul Core unpredictably. The risk is that the item could be destroyed during the process. You can get this item from Tier 3 Alchemy Lab within the Temple of Atziri in Path of Exile 2 patch 0.4.

Ancient Infuser

With the Abyss crafting on the Precursor Tablet removed, Path of Exile 2 Fate of the Vaal League will allow you to modify them using an Ancient Infuser. This currency will either make unpredictable changes to the tablet or destroy it. You can get it from Tablets Vault within the Temple of Atziri.

Crystallised Corruption

Speaking of double Corruption, the Crystallised Corruption allows you to modify a Corrupted Skill Gem unpredictably. This item is available at Tier 3 Thaumaturge within the Temple. Like many other crafting items in Fate of the Vaal League, there is a chance you’ll destroy the Gem in the process.

Vaal Infuser

A Vaal Infuser Improves the quality of a Martial Weapon, Caster Weapon, or Armour above 20%, up to 30%, with a chance of corrupting it. It may be one of the most popular currencies in Path of Exile 2 patch 0.4. Get it from Tier 3 Smithy in the Temple of Atziri.

Orb of Extraction

Since the past three updates, everyone’s been asking for a method to extract Socketables in Path of Exile 2. The Orb of Extraction allows you to do so. However, it will also destroy the item in the process. As the name suggests, this item drops from the Extraction Chamber in the Temple of Atziri.

In addition to the crafting items, you can also get at least two new types of Soul Cores from the Temple of Atziri. These are Guatelitzi's Thesis, which allows you to sacrifice 5% Life while sprinting in exchange for a 25% speed boost, and Citaqualotl's Thesis, which revives one of the Persistent Minions when an Offering expires.
