Duty Bound has been reissued for the second time in Destiny 2: Renegades, making it a brand-new gear piece in the expansion. The weapon still fires Kinetic damage and has a relatively higher fire rate, with some new perks to cater to the current sandbox. The current revamp of the weapon is also the first time Duty Bound has the tiering system, making its perks more powerful with enhanced modifiers.

Duty Bound PvE god roll in Destiny 2

Here is a list of perks recommended on the Duty Bound Auto Rifle for PvE:

• Arrowhead Brake for increased Handling and reduced vertical recoil.
• Flared Magwell for increased Stability and reload speed.
• Fourth Time's the Charm for getting two ammo back after landing four consecutive precision shots on a target.
• Triple Tap for getting one ammo back to the magazine after landing three consecutive precision shots on a target.

The combination mentioned above is meant to take care of elites and mini-bosses in the endgame, with more damage uptime.

For a more damaging approach, go with All Star or Rampage. One of the new perks, Bewildering Blast, which can launch an explosive projectile after reloading on kill, is a great option for extra dps on a target.

Here is a list of perks recommended on the Duty Bound Auto Rifle for PvE:

• Arrowhead Brake for increased Handling and reduced vertical recoil.
• Accurized Rounds for increased Range on the weapon.
• Lone Wolf for increased Accuracy and ADS speed. The effect increases when no allies are nearby.
• Rampage for increased damage with kills.

Go for Dynamic Sway Reduction for more Stability, and Onslaught for more fire rate. Zen Moment in the third column can stabilize the weapon even more.

Duty Bound can be obtained from the Pinnacle Ops playlist in Portal. Complete any one of the mission from the Pinnacle Ops, and the weapon will drop as a reward at the end.
