Diablo 4 Season 11 introduced a wealth of new uniques, including Supplication. Since Paladins were shadow-dropped into the game during The Game Awards 2025, they also needed powerful items to chase! Blizzard gave Paladins around 20 or so new Uniques, from weapons, shields, armor and jewelry. No matter what kind of build you’re running, there’s something for you in-game.
If you’re a fan of the Brandish skill in Diablo 4, you’re definitely going to want to pick up the Supplication Unique Sword. Thankfully, the boss loot table does feature this weapon, and if you want to know where your best chance is, we’re here to help.
How to farm Supplication in Diablo 4
According to the Diablo 4 boss loot table, Supplication drops as a result of slaying Duriel and Harbinger of Hatred. The good news is that Supplication is definitely on those boss loot tables. The bad news is that it’s not a guaranteed drop, and could take a significant amount of grinding.

Thanks to the boss lair changes though, you just need the summoning materials to loot the chest at the end of the fight, so it is possible to get carried to this weapon. Here are the materials needed for each fight:
- Duriel (Kehjistan, Southern Expanse): 3x Shard of Agony
- Harbinger of Hatred (Nahantu, Lingering Hatred): 3x Abhorrent Heart
Shards of Agony drop from Grigoire and Varshan, while Urivar drops Abhrorent Hearts. You can see the boss locations on the image above. Another option, if you have the materials, is to fight Belial, and choose Duriel or Harbinger of Hatred’s loot drops after you slay the boss.
Of course, you can also get Supplication in other ways in D4. It can drop from the Murmuring Obol trader, it can show up in your seasonal objective rewards, or it can also come as a reward from the Tree of Whispers. If you’re gambling with the Purveyor of Curiosities, pick one-handed swords. It will no doubt take time, but it’s worth having.
What are Supplication’s Unique effects in Diablo 4?
What exactly does Supplication do in Diablo 4, though? It’s a one-handed sword, that increases your basic damage by 50%, so it’s already a fairly good weapon to have. Among its affixes are +Strength, Chance for Brandish to Deal Double Damage, +Brandish, and +Basic Attack Speed. However, the real winner is its Unique Effect:

“Brandish unleashes in all directions dealing [150-300]%[x] increased damage.”
It’s a simple power, but it allows you to wade into a group of enemies, and splash damage everywhere with Brandish. On top of that, with its chance to deal double damage, that 300% multiplicative damage boost is going to be monstrous. When you consider that Brandish is an S-Tier build, it’s definitely a weapon you want to add to your collection in-game.
