Diablo 4 Season 11 will finally fix one quest that has been bugged for a year

Diablo 4 fans can rejoice, because Season 11 is going to fix a side quest that’s been bugged for at the very least, most of this year. It’s a side quest we’ve written a walkthrough before, because this quest wasn’t always bugged. While it's not the most important quest in the game, it is still worth doing, and that is simply not possible righ tnow.

A part of a short series of quests, it culminates in going to a dungeon and picking up a few items for your allies, but unfortunately, those items never spawn. That’s right, according to Blizzard, Raising Spears will finally be fixed in Diablo 4 Season 11.

Raising Spears quest to finally be fixed in Diablo 4 Season 11 after a year

Raising Spears is a quest that players have reported as bugged in Diablo 4 since at least July 2025, and as of Season 11, that will be fixed. At least, we hope that’s the case. There’s always a chance something else could go wrong, but we’re hopeful that this quest will finally be completable once again.

There are plenty of solid changes in Season 11, but hidden down in the Miscellaneous section of the 2.5.0 patch, going out on December 11, 2025, was one very important line, for players looking to complete all of the side quests (or at least, complete this one very annoying quest):

“Fixed an issue where the associated item for the Raising Spears quest didn't spawn, which would block quest progression.”

The final step of Raising Spears requires players to go into Champion’s Demise (dungeon), and collect 8 spears from the various graves in the dungeon. It’s supposed to be incredibly simple. You kill the enemies in your path, and loot the Blood-etched spears from the objects in the dungeon.

Unfortunately, this quest hasn’t worked for most of this year, leading to complaints about its buggy nature. Thankfully, those days are finally over, and once the update is rolled out, we’ll go back, and attempt to complete again to ensure this is the case.
