After completing A Divine Missive in Diablo 4 Season 11, you’ll pick up Hadriel’s Divine Missive, which is your repeatable faction quest for the season. Unlike previous seasons, where you need to reach particular ranks with the seasonal faction in order to do quests, that doesn’t seem to be the case this time around.
Instead, those ranks unlock the Purified Divine Gift slots at certain thresholds instead. You’re going to need to get used to seeing Hadriel’s Divine Missive in your log, because it seems like it’s one of the only important seasonal quests so far in Diablo 4 Season 11. Here’s what you need to know about it.
How to complete Hadriel’s Divine Missive in Diablo 4 Season 11
Hadriel’s Divine Missive’s objectives are a little confusing to read at first in Diablo 4 Season 11. It tells you to reach a specific amount of reputation, and also lists the various ways you can get the reputation. It will give you the following options:
- Defeat Duriel in the Helltide.
- Defeat Andariel in the Undercity.
- Defeat Azmodan in Hawezar.
- Defeat Belial in The Pit.

Duriel in this case is replacing the Blood Maiden in Helltides, and still requires getting Baneful Hearts. Andariel has a chance to be the final boss in your Undercity runs, but there are Tributes of Andariel you can unlock through gameplay that guarantee she’s the final foe in the Undercity run. You will have to activate it before you go inside.
For Undercity, you’ll of course need to have unlocked that content in the Vessel of Hatred expansion to do it. Azmodan is in Hawezar, and you can always see the items that summon him out there. You use the drops from the other bosses at the various altars to summon Azmodan.
In order to fight Belial at the end of your runs of The Pit, you need to unlock The Pit. That requires you to complete Season Rank II, and then you can start doing Pit runs and fighting Belial.
In order to farm the seasonal rep (Divine Favor), you need to defeat powerful enemies, such as named enemies, elites, and similar types. They will give you Divine Favor for defeating them. In addition, defeating the aforementioned bosses also give Divine Favor that goes towards Hadriel’s Divine MIssive in Diablo 4 Season 11.

Each time you meet the Divine Favor goal, it will increase, and bosses that vanished from your list repopulate. I say this because defeating Andariel took her off my list of potential targets, but Duriel and Azmodan stuck around, making them easier to grind. You do get a bonus bit of Divine Favor for defeating these, making them worth doing.
The best way to grind this reputation for my money in Diablo 4 Season 11 is to fight through areas heavily populated with elites and rare enemies. Helltides are great for this, and so were Undercity runs. Azmodan and Duriel fights are pretty easy to get into, and also give great rep and exp, so they’re also solid for leveling up. If we find an alternative way to grind, we’ll update this accordingly. However, the best way right now seems to be to just engage with the content.
