Diablo 4 Season 11’s A Divine Missive is the first quest you’ll pick up once you make a character for the current season. You will automatically pick this quest up, and while it’s a short one, it’ll introduce you to the basic concepts of the season, like upgrading your equipment with holy power. It’s not heavy on combat, but instead of doing lots of quests this season, it looks like it’s mostly repeatable ones.
Thankfully, you can complete this quest as soon as you login for the season, so you might as well rush through A Divine Missive in Diablo 4 Season 11. That is, once you’ve picked out your pet, and customized your mount. You have to look cool if you want to smash the forces of Hell whether you’re a Necromancer or a Paladin.
Steps to complete A Divine Missive in Diablo 4 Season 11
A Divine Missive starts in Kyovashad in Diablo 4 Season 11, and you can start doing it whenever you want to. It automatically shows up in your quest log, but if you would rather grind some exp and start picking up talent points, that’s also a solid idea. Whenever you’re ready though, here’s what you need to know.

Quest steps for A Divine Missive
- Follow the Angelic Voice.
- Follow the voice to the College of Light.
- Enter the portal in the College of Light.
- Approach the Angel.
In Kyovashad, you’ll see a brilliant glowing light near the Waypoint, and that’s the Angelic Voice you need to follow. Doing this also unlocks one of your first season rank objectives, Divine Salutations, as well as a free skill point.
Your next stop is the College of Light, and the closest fast travel to that is the Bear Tribe Refuge. Either way it’s a short ride from Kyovashad, so head on over, go into the building and then enter the portal within the College of Light. Approach the Angel, to learn that it’s the mighty Haladriel.
Technically, he cannot interfere in the affairs of Sanctuary, but he can bless your equipment through a forge he has left behind. He informs you that Azmodan, Duriel, Andariel, and Belial have infected the world, and you will need to stop them (by taking part in specific in-game content).
- Duriel in Helltides
- Andariel in Undercity
- Azmodan in Hawezar
- Belial in The Pit
After speaking to Hadriel, you’ll complete A Divine Missive in Diablo 4, receiving some XP and gold, as well as the repeatable quest Hadriel’s Divine Missive. This is going to be your grind quest for faction rep for the season, so get used to seeing it.
