Invasion is the new PvP game mode introduced in Destiny 2’s Renegades expansion. It’s a part of the Lawless Frontier where you can face off against other Guardians. The gameplay loop may remind you of Gambit. Similar to other PvP game modes, the Invasion also features an exclusive seal called Undertaker. To earn that, you need to complete a set of challenges within this game mode.
This guide lists all of the challenges in Destiny 2’s Undertaker seal and briefly explains what you need to do to earn that title.
How to obtain the Undertaker seal in Destiny 2

Here is a list of all challenges required to get the Undertaker seal:
- See New Places: Defeat Guardians across Europa, Mars, and Venus. Simply getting a single kill is enough to complete this challenge.
- Crackshot: Defeat 25 Guardians with critical hits. To do so, you need to either headshot them or make them vulnerable with abilities like Hunter’s Tether.
- Invader Repellant: Defeat 10 invading Guardians. You can only complete this challenge if someone invades your activity.
- Relentless Invader: Complete 10 Invasions. Returning without any kills will not progress this challenge.
- All In: Complete an Invasion with maximum wager. By default, you’ll use one Deathmark per run. Head over to your Contracts and Wallet to consume.
- Perfect Strike: Complete an invasion without dying. You need to get at least one kill during the process.
- Ruthless Pursuit: Defeat 50 Guardians in total during Invasions. The ones who invade you do not count.
- Full Pockets: Earn 100 points by defeating Guardians or collecting their Crest, which are red engrams dropped after their deaths.
- Knock ‘Em Down: Rapidly Defeat 15 Guardians during Invasions. Defeating one player after another before death will count as progress.
- Resourceful Renegade: Use Renegage abilities to defeat 30 Guardians while invading. Get abilities from different Syndicates.
Being a PvP challenge means the Undertaker seal will take time to complete. It’s also a single-player mode, meaning you can’t take a friend to help you out.
