Lawless Frontier is the primary endgame activity in Destiny 2: Renegades. Players will find several tasks hidden within the expansion, paired with a brand-new Syndicate system, loot, and currencies. The overall system is quite different from the game's standard, which can confuse a few players trying to farm the activities. One of the aspects is the currency from the Lawless Frontier that come in a lot of forms.
This article guides you though the different currencies in the Lawless Frontier, how to get them, and their usage in Renegades.
All the new Lawless Frontier currencies and how to use them in Destiny 2: Renegades
Currently, there are five currencies that can be earned from different places in the Lawless Frontier. They are as follows:
- Salvage.
- Credit.
- Dark Matter Ingot.
- Exotic Keycard.
- Deathmark.
Here's how each of them work:
1) Salvage
Salvage can be earned by dismantling gear pieces from the Lawless Frontier activities. These gear pieces can be anything from Tier 1 to 5. The amount of this currency can be viewed from the Wallet screen, accessible via the leftmost menu within the Lawless Frontier map page.
Salvage can be used to purchase gear from a Tharsis Outpost vendor, located outside the Cantina.

Before purchasing gear, however, it is recommended to get the "Renegades Gear Tier Upgrade" from Spider, so that you get higher tier weapons and armor by exchanging your Salvage.
2) Credit
Credits can be earned from complete Lawless Frontiers activities, be it Invasions, Bounty Hunts, or Sabotages. The amost amount of Credits can be farmed via the Contracts within the Lawless Frontiers screen. Open chests to get a small number of Credits within a Lawless Frontier activity as well.

Use these Credits in exchange for Lightsaber parts, Legendary weapons, and armor pieces from shops around the Tharsis Outpost, and also to upgrade Renegades abilities from Syndicate vendors.
3) Dark Matter Ingots
The Dark Matter Ingots can be farmed from completing Lawless Frontier activities, and by turning in lockbox materials at the end of each activity.
You can also exchange Deathmarks for Ingots from Spider. However, we strongly recommend you to not go that route.

Use these Ingots to interact with a reward chest located inside your allied Syndicate's office, and you will recieve a Renegades gear, alongside the respective Syndicate's reputation EXP.
4) Exotic Keycards
Exotic Keycards can drop randomly from a chest within any Lawless Frontier activity.
To use them, open up the Wallet section via the map, and then notice the location in brackets, beside the Keycard in your wallet.

Follow the location, open up the Lawless Frontier map, and launch a mission on that location. Equip a Wombo Detector mod on your Ghost, and look for two chest icons that are located next to each other.
This is where your keycard will be used. Unlock the new area, open the chests, and you can recieve one of the new Exotic armor pieces for your equipped class.
5) Deathmarks
Deathmarks can be earned from Lawless Frontiers activity completion.

You need atleast one Deathmark to play the PvP invasion mode in the Lawless Frontier. Open your wallet to wager more Deathmarks for your Invasions, and upon doing so, you can earn more rewards after a successful Invasion.
