Bitter End is a new Arc Machine Gun from the new Destiny 2: Equilibrium Dungeon. The Legendary Heavy weapon is a Blaster gear piece of the Balanced Heat archetype, meaning that players will low heat generation and higher damage output. However, several newer perks that cater to these Heat Weapons can also significantly alter how the pieces interact with a subclass, and such is the case for Bitter End.

Bitter End PvE god roll in Destiny 2

Here is a list of perks recommended for Bitter End for boss damage in PvE:

  • Arrowhead Brake for increased Handling and reduced recoil.
  • Enhanced Heatsink for reduced Heat Generation.
  • Trickle Charge for resetting your weapon's hit after dealing or recieving a Bolt Charge.
  • Jolting Feedback for inflicting the Jolt debuff on a target with sustained hits.

Use this combination with Titan's Arc subclass and the Storm's Keep Aspect. Cast your Rally Barricade, and you can fire the weapon infinitely without having to vent any heat.

For clearing out mob groups in the endgame, get this combination:

  • Corkscrew Rifling for increased Stability, Handling, and Range.
  • Accelerated Heatsink for higher cooling efficiency.
  • Cooling Baubles for reduced Heat with elemental pickups or Orbs of Light.
  • Killing Tally for a 3x damage buff upto 30% with kills.

The Bitter End Machine Gun can be farmed from the Horrow boss fight encounter in the Equilibrium Dungeon, or the final Dredgen Sere boss fight of the same activity.
