Epic Games is giving away a unique Fortnite Storm Surfing Discord reward in partnership with the popular communication app. The developers have joined hands with Discord to offer players a free Avatar decoration that fans can use within the app and show off their love for this new season of Pacific Break.

Epic Games is known to partner with major brands and franchises to promote their new seasons and content in the Battle Royale, and the developers have gone all out for Chapter 7. They have collaborated with Discord to offer players a limited-time free Avatar decoration based on the new surf mechanic that replaces the beloved battle bus.

Players can get their hands on the limited-time Storm Surfing Avatar decoration by completing a playtime quest within Discord. The quest requires gamers to play Fortnite with the Discord client open for a specific duration.
Here's how you can complete the playtime quest and get your hands on the Storm Surfing Avatar decoration based on Chapter 7 Season 1 in Fortnite :
- Open Discord and make your way to the quests tab.
- Locate the Fortnite quest and click the blue Accept button. Alternatively, you can click on this deep link to make your way directly to the mission. Now, select your desired platform between PC and Console.
- Once accepted and selected, play Fortnite for 15 minutes with the Discord application open in the background.
After you play for at least 15 minutes, you will earn the free Fortnite Storm Surfing Discord reward for a period of two months.
Once obtained, you can equip it from the settings section in your Discord app. After claiming it, equip the cosmetic and show it off to your friends to earn some bragging rights. Note that the playtime quest to get the free Storm Surfing Avatar decoration is available until December 8, 2025.
