The Fortnite downtime today (November 19, 2025) is scheduled to begin at 4 am ET. Matchmaking (ability to queue for a match) will be disabled 30 minutes prior to the servers being taken offline, which will result in you being unable to queue for a match. However, if you are still in-game, you will be able to wrap up your session before logging off.

This is the second and quite possibly the last major update for this phase of the storyline. In terms of new content, we know that the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant is going to undergo changes that will eventually lead to the End-Of-Season live event. The Fortnite downtime today (November 19, 2025) will last approximately one and a half hours (90 minutes). This is based on the last few downtimes that have occurred and the official information provided. The servers will go offline at 4 am ET and should be back online by 5:30 am ET. Epic Games will provide an update when the servers are live again.

Content changes for Fortnite update v38.11

Based on the Fortnite Simpsons v38.11 update (November 19, 2025) early patch notes, we can expect a bit of new content. Floating Donuts and Homer Clones will be spawning across the island. These will add chaos to the mix, but with this being the final stretch, it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Aside from new gameplay elements, the Nuclear Plant will undergo a few changes as well. This will be done in preparation for the upcoming live event. In fact, this Named Location could be the place where things kick off at the end of the Season.

New weapons are also slated to be added to the loot pool with this final update. One of them is Moe's 5-Gun, and the other belongs to none other than Kang and Kodo. These two new weapons will really shake up gameplay strategy and combat to a large extent.
