Everything new coming to Fortnite Reload and Blitz Royale (December 4, 2025)

Fortnite Reload and Blitz Royale are going to be injected with fresh content on December 4, 2025, at an unspecified time. There will be a new Island to explore, loot to obtain, fancy gadgets to turn the tide of combat, and, of course, Battle Pass rewards to unlock. Quests will also be added, which can be completed for a healthy amount of XP.

That being said, here is what you expect from the new update coming to Reload and Blitz Royale.

Fortnite Reload and Blitz Royale are getting new content

As mentioned, there's a lot of neat stuff coming to these core modes. Reload will get new content, not just today, but during the next update as well, which should keep players busy for a while. As for Blitz, everything is getting a major overhaul, which should make combat interesting. Here's more on the topic at hand.

Chapter 7 Season 1: Pacific Break Battle Pass holders will be able to redeem a Style for Carter Wu (Outfit) called The Black Dragon once they complete certain tasks. There are also several QoL (quality of life) changes that will be implemented in Reload, such as: More Expressive Hitmarkers, Gold Bar Overhaul, Ammo Status Indicator, and Simple Build. These will enhance the overall gameplay experience.

Three new POIs will be added to the Island, they are: Sus Studio, Sweaty Shores, and Divey Dam. To aid in rotation, Wingsuits will be introduced. There will be Mastery Quests and subsequent Rewards, as well as a Rank Reset. Lastly, in the next update, Storm Surfing and Morphite Weapons will be added. We could even see the mighty Forsaken Vow Blade added later on.

Blitz Royale

Chapter 7 Season 1: Pacific Break Battle Pass holders who manage to complete Kickstart Quests will be rewarded with the Media Blitz Cat (Outfit). This is a variant of the character known as Cat Holloway.

The loot pool is being re-revamped with new items and weapons, such as Self Revive, Wingsuit, Iron Pump Shotgun, Twin Hammer Shotguns, Arc Lightning Gun, and Grenade. You will be able to test out the arsenal on the new map called Starfall Island. It will play host to POIs such as Holloway House, Ritzy Redux, and Boutique Bay.
