With Survivor Series in the books, WWE's 2025 premium live event calendar is complete. And what an interesting way to finish it off! This was a solid outing to close out the year, with every match offering something different. Survivor Series was a thriller from start to finish. But what stole the show? Which WarGames bout was better? Here is a breakdown of all four matches from Survivor Series 2025, as we rank them out of five.#1. Women's WarGames MatchSurvivor Series 2025 (Image via WWE.com)As always, Survivor Series began with the Women's WarGames Match. We immediately witnessed the changed entrance format, as WWE scrapped the shark cages. Unfortunately, this bout did not live up to expectations due to several issues.Rhea Ripley's team had the advantage, which led to a weird dynamic. The babyfaces constantly outnumbered the heels. We still got some fun moments, though, like Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair's extended faceoff. AJ Lee's many interactions with different stars were interesting to see, too. However, there was a real lack of intensity. The heel team wasn't dominant enough to elevate the babyface comeback. That started when Charlotte saved Rhea Ripley from getting misted by Asuka. IYO SKY did get to do her signature trash can dive from the top of the cage, landing on every heel other than Lynch. The Man was then outnumbered, as she suffered a Riptide before tapping out to AJ's Black Widow. As good as it was to see such a strong showing from the babyfaces, this match felt way too one-sided. A few noticeable botches also brought down the quality of the match.Rating: ***1/2#2. John Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio - WWE Intercontinental Championship MatchSurvivor Series 2025 (Image via WWE.com)John Cena's final premium live event match was a great one, as he dropped the Intercontinental Championship to Dominik Mysterio. It was among the biggest positives of Survivor Series, despite being quite overbooked. The hot crowd carried the whole ordeal.Dirty Dom faked an injury, leading to Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez hitting Cena with their finishers. This was an incredible moment, even if the referee refused to count the pin after Mysterio hit the 619 and Frog Splash. The Last Real Champion fought back with some of his greatest hits.Finn Balor and JD McDonagh attacked John Cena after a ref bump, only for him to give them a double Attitude Adjustment. That wasn't the end of the interferences, as Liv Morgan returned to WWE. She appeared to betray Dominik Mysterio, only for it to be a ruse.Morgan kicked Cena below the belt and hit him with the IC Title, while Mysterio finished him off with a Frog Splash. This was a wonderful swerve, but there was a lot that happened. Possibly too much. Regardless, Survivor Series 2025 will forever be remembered as John Cena's final premium live event.Rating: ****#3. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Nikki Bella - Women's World Championship MatchThis was a solid match, one that was needed for Stephanie Vaquer. She finally has her first successful premium live event title defense under her belt. Nikki Bella showed some great aggression throughout their bout at Survivor Series, matching La Primera's fire.Vaquer even had to put her foot on the rope to survive a Rack Attack. She eventually recovered and hit the Devil's Kiss on the announce table before doing so in the ring. She hit the Corkscrew Spiral Tap to get the win, ending Nikki Bella's world title aspirations. While clearly the least important match at Survivor Series, this was good for what it was.Rating: ***1/4#4. Men's WarGames Match - WWE Survivor Series Main EventThe main event of Survivor Series was a brutal affair right from the get-go. The Men's WarGames Match was filled with big moments, with CM Punk and Drew McIntyre facing off five minutes into it. Shortly later, Bron Breakker landed on his neck after a Doomsday Device from Punk and Cody Rhodes. The two World Champions were busted open early on, truly selling the brutality of WarGames. Meanwhile, Jey Uso Yeeted with his theme song in the middle of the match, only to be interrupted by Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate F5'ed every member of Team Punk before Roman Reigns came out.Lesnar met the OTC outside the WarGames structure, and the two brawled on the floor. He ended up hitting an F5 on Reigns through the announce table, before ultimately suffering payback via a Spear through a leaning table in the ring. Bron Breakker then went on a Spear rampage of his own and won the match for The Vision. However, it wasn't without help.A mystery man entered the ring and hit a Curb Stomp on CM Punk, allowing Breakker to beat him. It can't be Seth Rollins because he is legitimately injured. This was a chaotic end to a chaotic match. We got some fun action and a cliffhanger to close out Survivor Series, but the lack of true resolution and creativity stopped it from touching the previous Men's WarGames Matches.Rating: ***3/4
