He issued an official invitation to discuss how to bring McIntyre back to the roster before WWE SmackDown kicked off.Backstage on SmackDown, Aldis showed Cody Rhodes a legal letter from Drew claiming that the work environment was unsafe, and Nick was trying to resolve the matter as quickly as he could.Cody ran out to the ring and made fun of Drew's letter before saying that things like this were why McIntyre wasn't the WWE Champion. Cody wished Aldis would just fire Drew before Oba Femi made his entrance.Oba said that Drew wasn't there and Cody should worry about The Ruler, a.k.a The Bringer of War, more than McIntyre. Solo and the MFT showed up on the Titantron, and Sikoa said that he doesn't work on Howdy or anyone else's terms. Solo added that they would be coming for the titles next week, and the Wyatts should just hand over the titles to make it easy.WWE SmackDown Results: Alexa Bliss vs. Lash LegendBliss took some big slams early on and sent Lash to the floor before getting caught off the dive and tossed over the barricades. Back inside the ring, Lash tried for an armbar before getting a big lariat.Alexa came back with a counter and got a dropkick before taking a big forearm. Nia Jax ran interference, and Charlotte took her down with a superkick before Lash went out and hit Flair with the pump kick. Jade made her way to the ring and said that stars like Michin should know their place and stay away from her.Michin came out with a kendo stick and attacked Jade before trying to take out a ladder. Michin took a chokeslam before Jade taunted her and walked out with the title.WWE SmackDown Results: Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley vs. Aleister Black & Zelina VegaZelina sent Rhea outside right off the bat, and Black delivered a beatdown to Priest moments before the bell. Zelina got on Priest's back, and the latter made the tag to Rhea, who got some big kicks and a clothesline.Zelina locked in a submission hold, focusing on Rhea's left arm before getting the Meteora for a near fall. Tags were made before Priest got the Broken Arrow for a near fall. Zelina again climbed onto Priest's back as a distraction to allow Black to get the German Suplex.Rhea tagged herself in, but the Riptide was countered and Zelina hit Code Red for the near fall. Zelina botched a big slam, and it looked like Ripley almost got injured in the process.Rhea got a big takedown, and Black broke up the pin before taking a big boot from Ripley.
