WWE News: Update on Roode & Young's signing with WWE

Roode and Young might join Joe in NXT soon

WWE has recently signed a lot of major names from other wrestling promotions like Nakamura, Styles, Gallows and Anderson from NJPW and Samoa Joe, Austin Aries from TNA. The signing frenzy of WWE is not yet over and it looks like two more major names will be soon added to that list.

Former TNA Superstars Bobby Roode and Eric Young are on the verge of signing a contract with WWE. Bobby Roode was recently seen during a NXT Taping and Eric Young went a step further to make a surprise appearance on NXT recently. Roode was rumoured to be backstage during Young’s appearance too.

WWE confirmed these speculations when they tweeted that Bobby Roode would be making his appearance during the NXT UK Tour. But WWE deleted that tweet soon to push the fans in confusion further. The backstage news is that WWE is on the verge of signing with these two superstars but no deal has been signed yet. If all goes well, both Roode and Young would sign the contract within this month.

It is worth noting that Eric Young has mentioned in an interview with Niagara This Week that he is working on a deal with WWE, but is not signed and sealed yet.
