2. Identity of masked man possibly revealed by wrestling insider

On the topic of the identity of the mystery man, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer has also offered his take on who the person under the hood likely is. On all occasions, the star has only hit his targets with a superkick and a Curb Stomp. However, the notion that it is Seth Rollins has been dropped almost immediately, since he is out injured.

According to Alvarez, the man at Survivor Series was most likely Austin Theory, who hasn't been on programming in months. On the other hand, the person on RAW could have been Montez Ford, since his movement was different from the person who invaded the WarGames cage. But, he could not offer a confirmation on whether Ford appeared on the red brand this past week.

1. The Rock sends John Cena a message days before his retirement

John Cena is set to retire from WWE on December 13, at Saturday Night's Main Event. Meanwhile, The Rock has been nominated for the Golden Globe Best Actor award for his role in The Smashing Machine.

Acknowledging his former WWE rival, Cena uploaded a poster of the nomination on his Instagram account, where he posts pictures without captions. The Rock commented on the post, calling the 17-time world champion the greatest of all-time ahead of his retirement match.

"Love ya, man, and as you know, always grateful for all you’ve done for the business we love. You are truly the GOAT. Bring your moonshine, I’ll bring the tequila 🥃 🤣🫱🏾‍🫲🏼," he commented.

Rumors suggest that The Rock could return for an appearance at Saturday Night's Main Event this weekend after Cena's last match. However, it is very unlikely and unconfirmed at this point.
