Let's get started:

#5. John Cena reunited with his former WWE rival on Monday Night RAW

Madison Square Garden marked John Cena's final appearance for the promotion as a performer on the red brand. The Franchise Player opened the show and had an in-ring segment with Dominik Mysterio before The Judgment Day attacked the new Intercontinental Champion in his final RAW appearance.

This led to a six-man tag team match in which Cena teamed up with Sheamus and Rey Mysterio to face the villainous trio. In the end, the legends hit some of their signature moves, and The Franchise Player ended the match with an Attitude Adjustment to JD McDonagh to secure the win. This was the first time since 2014 that John Cena and Sheamus teamed up for a match in the promotion.

#4. Update on 21-year-old star's WWE future - Reports

WWE currently has several stars that are being groomed to become the future of the industry and dominate the weekly product in the coming years. The likes of Bron Breakker, Jacob Fatu, and more are already working against top names on WWE's main roster.

According to Bodyslam, the company also sees Je'Von Evans as the future of the industry. The 21-year-old NXT star has only had a few years under his belt in the Stamford-based promotion, but it seems like officials are quite high on the NXT star, and it'll be interesting to see what's next for Evans.

#3. Several notable WWE names returned on Monday Night RAW

WWE RAW in Madison Square Garden was stacked, as the show was filled with several returns and jaw-dropping moments. During the show, Gunther returned to the company for the first time since SummerSlam in New Jersey and defeated Je'Von Evans to advance in the tournament.

Later, Dolph Ziggler, aka Nic Nemeth, returned to the red brand for the first time in over two years as Solo Sikoa's mystery opponent in 'The Last Time is Now' tournament. The Showoff had an intense feud with The Franchise Player in the past, and, similar to Zack Ryder on Friday Night SmackDown, Ziggler lost his match.

During the show, Charlotte Flair, who quit the team on Friday Night SmackDown, returned to the red brand. The Queen entered the ring with a kendo stick to even the odds. However, she still doesn't trust Rhea Ripley, and the team still needs a fifth member for the event in California.

#2. Huge title reign has ended on WWE RAW

Becky Lynch has made history more than once in the Stamford-based promotion and has been ruling the women's division on the red brand since June 2025, when she won the Women's Intercontinental Championship.

However, The Man lost her confidence when she tapped out to AJ Lee at Wrestlepalooza in a Mixed Tag Team match. Since the loss, Lynch hasn't been the same inside the ring and has taken two consecutive losses to Maxxine Dupri. While she didn't get pinned in either, Adam Pearce granted Dupri a title match.

On the latest edition of WWE RAW in Madison Square Garden, Maxxine Dupri won the Women's Intercontinental Championship when AJ Lee distracted Becky Lynch. The Man's reign ended at 163 days after Dupri hit her with a diving crossbody to win the match.

#1. Brock Lesnar aligned with The Vision on WWE RAW

The company went all out for the show at Madison Square Garden, and major names were in attendance. During the show, Paul Heyman went to Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis and teased his fifth superstar for the Men's WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series.

The Vision has been gaining momentum across both brands with the addition of Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul by their side heading into San Diego, California. Surprisingly, Brock Lesnar, who was last seen at Wrestlepalooza, aligned with the new group and his former advocate on the brand.

In the end, Roman Reigns returned to Monday Night RAW in Madison Square Garden and stood against The Vision. While he wasn't too keen on teaming up with his former rivals, The Original Tribal Chief and The Beast Incarnate will be on opposite teams for WarGames.
