WWE is set to host their Annual Royal Rumble Premium Live Event next month in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event will take place on January 31st 2026 in the King Abdullah Financial District. This will be the first traditional Royal Rumble PLE that will take place outside of North America. The Stamford-based company might have subtly confirmed that former RAW Tag Team Champion Omos will make his return at the event. Omos made his last televised appearance in the company on the April 5th 2024 episode of SmackDown. He competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal but accidentally eliminated himself. Since then, he has made sporadic appearances for WWE's partner promotions AAA Lucha Libre and Pro Wrestling NOAH. He also appeared at an NXT Live Event in October recently where he defeated Lexis King in his return match. However, the Giant star might be making his return to WWE programming very soon. Omos could make his return at next month's Royal Rumble PLE in Riyadh as an entrant in the Men's Royal Rumble match. The Stamford-based promotion has already subtly confirmed his return by sending him to Saudi Arabia to promote the event at the inauguration of Mr. Beast Land along with stars like Randy Orton and Liv Morgan. It wouldn't make sense if he's promoting the event in Saudi and still won't be a part of the show. However, there has been no actual confirmation regarding his return. It will be interesting to see what Triple H plans to do with Omos if he does return at the Rumble.Chris Jericho is rumoured to make his WWE return at the 2026 Royal RumbleChris Jericho has been on a professional wrestling hiatus since his last AEW appearance in April this year. Many believe that the Y2J is set to make his return to the WWE once his contract with the Tony Khan led promotion expires. Next month's Rumble PLE has been rumoured as the destination of Jericho's return. In recent reports, it has been stated that the Stamford-based promotion could be offering Chris Jericho a retirement tour in the proposed contract. However, no actual confirmation regarding the same has been made. Despite this, fans are hoping to see Jericho back soon.It will be interesting to see if the Lionheart will make his return to the Stamford-based company at next month's Royal Rumble event.
