John Cena's Last Time Is Now Tournament is set to kick off tonight on WWE RAW. As announced by Adam Pearce last week, the first round of the tournament will see Sheamus take on Shinsuke Nakamura, while Rusev locks horns with Damian Priest.

At Saturday Night's Main Event XLI, The Franchise Player revealed that he wanted someone to step up and take advantage of the same opportunity that he had when he debuted, and announced a 16-man tournament to determine who would face him in his retirement match in December.

Given that it's every superstar's dream to face Cena in his last match, there is a strong possibility that some wrestlers will go to great lengths to join the tournament. In a shocking twist, Solo Sikoa might take out Shinsuke Nakamura before his bout against Sheamus, and then step in to take his place in the tournament.

Nakamura has a storied history with Sikoa and his MFT on SmackDown. He entered into a rivalry with the villainous faction on the go-home edition of the blue brand ahead of Crown Jewel: Perth. The 8-time champion was attacked by a returning Tama Tonga and his stablemates during his United States Championship match against Sami Zayn.

Just like the creative team has done several times in the past, Solo Sikoa could be scripted to take out Shinsuke Nakamura tonight and then claim his spot in the tournament, as part of a blockbuster storyline.

While this angle is far-fetched, it's not impossible. Fans will have to wait and see how things play out on tonight's episode of RAW.

John Cena could win the International Championship on WWE RAW

With just four more appearances left for John Cena before he bids fans farewell in December, he is scheduled to appear on tonight's episode of WWE RAW. Despite the legacy Cena has built in the Stamford-based promotion, he has yet to win the International Championship, and that might change tonight.

In a jaw-dropping twist, The Franchise Player may challenge Dominik Mysterio to a match for his IC Title. If this happens, the GOAT could be booked for the victory and capture the title for the first time in his career.

If this happens, it could help spice up John Cena's Retirement Tour, which many believe has been underwhelming so far. Moreover, it could make Cena's retirement match a championship bout and give fans a great moment to cherish.

That said, this angle is speculative, and nothing in this regard has been confirmed.
