WWE is set to take a break in a few weeks following Saturday Night's Main Event in Washington. Meanwhile, there's uncertainty around Penta's immediate in-ring future.
Last month, Penta suffered a horrible botch outside the ring, which severely affected his shoulder. The match with Solo Sikoa was immediately called off, and The Street Champion was given the win. Meanwhile, officials tended to the masked star, and he hasn't appeared on the weekly product in a while.
According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), there's uncertainty around Penta's in-ring status for the upcoming show in Guadalajara. Moreover, Meltzer added that while he's gotten a go from a doctor, it's strictly the company's call on whether he will team up with Rey Fenix in the coming days.

The 40-year-old RAW star was set for a Lucha Brothers reunion in AAA, but that seems to be on hold. It'll be interesting to see when Penta returns to in-ring competition in the Stamford-based promotion.
Triple H may have spoiled top WWE star's return
WWE often creates marketing for its premium live events weeks or months in advance to build hype around the product. The company did something similar a while back when a poster for Friday Night SmackDown in Saudi Arabia featured Randy Orton.
The Viper has been on a hiatus from the weekly product for a while, but the marketing material indicated that the 14-time WWE World Champion will be back on the road with the roster when the company heads to Saudi Arabia in 2026 to host the Royal Rumble.
A similar incident took place recently when Triple H shared the poster for the same event, which featured Penta. The masked star is currently on an injury hiatus from the weekly product following his match with Solo Sikoa on WWE RAW. While he's expected to compete this month with Rey Fenix, it's highly unlikely based on the reports around his in-ring status.
