Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 was a massive success for WWE, with 46,016 people in attendance. However, the company reportedly enforced a huge change before the final Premium Live Event of the year. According to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, WWE purposely tested the titantrons for the event with wrestlers not scheduled for the show. The company knew that fans would film these kinds of things, and they would be all over social. It went viral, which caused a lot of rumors about the possibility of some stars coming back. The ring was also reportedly curtained off, with an additional ring built backstage for rehearsals. It's unclear why it was done, but it was probably to prevent any leaked photos or videos that could give away the results of the matches on the card. There were only a total of four matches on the card, which included two title matches and two WarGames matches. The event received a mixed reaction from fans on social media due to the less violent nature of the WarGames matches compared to AEW's Blood and Guts matches a few weeks ago. Nevertheless, the event was still trending on social media regardless if some people liked it or not. With 46,016 people in attendance, WWE probably doesn't mind some negative comments from those who weren't there live. Triple H sends message to San Diego on WWE's behalfAfter Survivor Series: WarGames ended, Triple H joined the post-show crew of Big E, Joe Tessitore and Peter Rosenberg. WWE's chief content officer started by sending a message to the city of San Diego for welcoming them to the final PLE of 2025. "Stunning location, stunning Petco Park. What an amazing look, right? Just crazy off the charts. I want to thank everyone here at Petco Park. I want to thank the San Diego Padres for inviting us into their house. I want to say thank you to San Diego in general," Triple H said. The next big event will be Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. It's the final stop of John Cena's farewell tour, with The GOAT hanging it up as an in-ring performer.
