Real reason behind Austin Theory joining The Vision on WWE RAW - Reports

The Vision has become stronger than ever following WWE Survivor Series 2025 in San Diego. According to a new report, there's a reason why Paul Heyman wants Austin Theory to join the faction.

Austin Theory went on a hiatus from the weekly product under Triple H's creative regime following WrestleMania 41. Later, it was revealed in a backstage segment that Grayson Waller ended his tag team with the two-time United States Champion and found a new alliance with The New Day.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old star's status was unknown for a while. According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), Paul Heyman wants to bring Austin Theory into The Vision, aiming to make Theory a bigger star in the Stamford-based promotion.

Moreover, the WWE Hall of Famer wants the former Tag Team Champion to take pinfall losses if needed instead of Reed and Breakker doing the job during matches. It'll be interesting to see when Austin Theory returns to television and joins the villainous faction.

Ex-WWE star doesn't want Austin Theory as the masked man from Survivor Series 2025

Survivor Series 2025 ended in The Vision's favor as Bron Breakker pinned CM Punk to win the gimmick match. However, a masked man appeared in the ring and attacked The Second City Saint during the match, which allowed Breakker to get the advantage and win.

While there's no confirmation on who's behind the mask, Vince Russo gave his take following the event. Speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle Studios' The Coach and Bro Show, the ex-WWE writer stated that the mystery assailant should be anyone but Austin Theory, as the management has not mentioned him or pushed him in a long time.

"Now, if it's a big name and it's a shocker and it's holy s**t, I'm fine with it. But if you're going to end the match that way and the surprise is somebody that's not over, you just keep digging yourself in a deeper hole, man," Russo said.

It'll be interesting to see how the management books Austin Theory's return and possible introduction in The Vision in the coming weeks.
