Wrestling veteran Bryan Alvarez may have revealed the identity of the mysterious attacker who appeared on WWE RAW. He believes that the star under the hood was former WWE Tag Team Champion Montez Ford.
After a masked man helped The Vision win the Men's WarGames match, another unknown performer wearing similar clothes showed up on the latest edition of the red brand to take out Rey Mysterio and LA Knight in two separate attacks. Interestingly, the mystery attacker on RAW appeared to have a different build and mannerisms from the one who stomped CM Punk to the mat at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez opined that the Stamford-based promotion had two different people portray the mystery attacker to throw people off. He stated that Austin Theory was the one who took out CM Punk at WarGames.
"So, the mystery man was on this show twice. And at this point, to try to throw people off, there are at least two people portraying the mystery man. One of them was Austin Theory at the pay-per-view," Alvarez said.

Alvarez pointed out that he was not sure whether the same star was under the mask during both the attacks on Monday Night RAW. However, he believes the person who showed up toward the end of the show was Montez Ford.
"And on this show, I don't know if it was a different guy in both appearances or if one of them was Theory and one of them was somebody else, but particularly the guy at the end of the show looked like he was moving a little different. But anyway, I think the other guy is Montez Ford, but I cannot confirm that," Alvarez added.

A WWE commentator believes Paul Heyman is the mastermind behind the mystery attacker
While everyone was speculating about who the mystery attacker might be, veteran commentator Michael Cole stated that whoever it was, Paul Heyman was the mastermind behind everything.
After the WarGames match ended, The Voice of WWE recalled that Heyman had previously claimed that he would always be one step ahead of everyone. Michael Cole stated that he could guarantee that the WWE Hall of Famer had something to do with it.
"Well, I was gonna say, let's talk about Paul Heyman for a moment. A couple of weeks ago, on Friday Night SmackDown, Paul Heyman said, 'I will always be one step ahead in this game.' And once again, Paul Heyman was one step ahead. I'm not sure if he knew that this mystery guy was going to climb into the ring, but knowing Paul Heyman, I guarantee you, he had something to do with it," Cole said.
It will be interesting to see how much longer WWE takes to reveal the identity of the mystery attacker officially.
