Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have been eternal rivals in the Stamford-based promotion following The Architect's heel turn on Shield many years ago. After the iconic faction ended, the two became the faces of their respective brands and have dominated the industry more than once under different regimes.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), Reigns was set to face Rollins in Nevada for the title and headline the second night of WrestleMania 42. However, plans were changed when The Visionary got injured in Perth, and the current idea is for The Original Tribal Chief to challenge either Cody Rhodes or CM Punk for their respective titles.

While Reigns and Rollins have had countless encounters in the company, the two started a storyline earlier this year when The Visionary took Paul Heyman away from The Original Tribal Chief and started The Vision on the red brand. It will be interesting to see what's next in the coming months.

Roman Reigns is set to face Seth Rollins' former faction at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames

Roman Reigns entered a feud with Seth Rollins on Monday Night RAW, as The Visionary created his new faction on the brand following WrestleMania 41. Regardless of The Original Tribal Chief's part-time schedule, the 40-year-old star feuded and faced Bronson Reed.

After the event in Perth, Reigns left the arena with a loss in a one-on-one contest, and Rollins left with an injury. However, The Original Tribal Chief continued his feud with The Vision and joined CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and The Usos for a WarGames match in San Diego.

Roman Reigns has competed in two WarGames matches, and he's set to enter the gimmick match for the third time against The Vision, Brock Lesnar, and Drew McIntyre. It'll be interesting to see which team leaves the event with a win.
