The doctor told the publication via DM that it is unknown if Penta will be ready for AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20. The veteran was scheduled to reunite with his brother, Rey Fenix, and compete as The Lucha Bros at the event.

Dr. Odiseo added that it will ultimately be WWE's decision when the popular luchador will be able to return to action.

“We’re doing well, but ultimately it doesn’t depend on Penta or me—it depends on the W. If they decide he’s ready to return, that’s their decision to make," he added. [H/T: Ringside News]

Speaking on Mafufa's Chronicles, the former AEW champion revealed that he didn't sign with the promotion for the money. He shared that he wanted to exit his comfort zone and grow as a performer.

"You’re leaving your comfort zone — where you already know how things work, where you earn certain money, you can wrestle wherever you want… it’s comfortable. I also had more control in AEW. But deep down, you know there’s something missing. It wasn’t money, it wasn’t fame — it was competitive hunger. Growth. That’s what finally took us to WWE,” he said.
