WWE icon John Cena will wrestle his last match next week at Saturday Night's Main Event in the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Over the last few weeks, there have been several rumors suggesting that Vince McMahon and American President Donald could attend The Cenation Leader's final in-ring appearance.

However, a recent update from Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer suggests otherwise. He noted that the chances of the former WWE Chairman attending the upcoming show were "increasingly unlikely— not impossible, but unlikely."

John Cena will face either Gunther or LA Knight in his last match at Saturday Night's Main Event. The Ring General and The Megastar will compete in the final of the Last Time is Now Tournament on the December 5 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. None of the two stars have wrestled the Never Seen 17 in a one-on-one contest ever before.

John Cena spoke about Vince McMahon ahead of his last WWE match

John Cena has, on several occasions, publicly opened up about his admiration for Vince McMahon. He recently spoke about the 80-year-old during an interview with The Ringer's Bell Simmons.

The Cenation Leader noted that Vince McMahon had a lot of knowledge, and it was unfortunate that the latter could no longer share it with others. The 48-year-old expressed his love for his former boss and noted that he never wanted Mr. McMahon to leave. However, he noted that the former WWE Chairman taught him that no one was going to stay in the business forever.

"Vince [McMahon] has so much knowledge. I think what's happened is unfortunate because you have this individual with so much depth of field who can still offer things, and we no longer can pull from that well, but it doesn't mean that we don't have able-bodied folks who can put on creative programming... I never wanted Vince to go because I love him, and I know how much he loves the business, but he taught me like we're all going to go. All of us. And he taught me that not only through saying but also through his actions," Cena said.

It will be intriguing to witness whether Vince McMahon shows up to watch John Cena in action for one last time.
