WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg found himself in the middle of another controversy after his appearance at an event. Recent comments from the organizer have provided more clarity about the incident.

Over the weekend, the 58-year-old showed up as a guest at the Big Event EXS convention in Brentwood, Long Island. After the event, another vendor, K&S Wrestlefest, posted an update on Facebook, accusing Da Man of walking out of the event without signing any of their merchandise.

However, Big Event EXS promoter Tom Unger came up with an entirely different perspective about the whole situation. He claimed that Da Man was not contracted to do private signings for K&S Wrestlefest. On the contrary, Unger noted that they were told that the veteran would do a private signing session if he had time, but it was never guaranteed.

"No, he [Goldberg] wasn’t. He signed for the fans for 5 hrs straight. Ken wasn’t guaranteed anything. I told him if we had time, we would get your items done. He shouldn’t be posting this all over like the victim. This was my deal, and my customers come first. Shouldn’t take mail order from all you not knowing if it was going to get done," Unger wrote.

Goldberg has yet to issue a statement regarding the controversy. It appears to be a case of miscommunication and misunderstanding between the two promoters, while the retired professional wrestler was unaware of the entire situation.

Goldberg recently fired shots at WWE during an interview, claiming that the wrestling promotion intentionally booked Asuka to surpass his undefeated streak.

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo also weighed in with his opinion about Goldberg's streak in a recent episode of Writing with Russo. The former WWE head writer opined that the former World Heavyweight Champion's legacy was beyond the streak. Russo added that the retired star made a lot of money back in the day, just like other top names.

Da Man wrestled Gunther in his last WWE match earlier this year at Saturday Night's Main Event. The veteran lost the bout and was upset with the production team cutting off his farewell speech during the show. He has made his grievance known in several interviews ever since.
