According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer, multiple main roster call-ups are expected to take place in the "next month or so." Although he did not disclose any names, the 50-year-old claimed that most of the names being discussed are deserving.
Many NXT stars like Je'Von Evans, Sol Ruca, and Zaria have already wrestled a couple of matches on the main roster before officially making the move. Some other names wrestling fans expect to get the call-up soon include Oba Femi, Ricky Saints, Trick Williams, Jordynne Grace, and more. Booker T pushes for a former WWE NXT Champion to get a main roster call-up
Oba Femi has been among the most dominant stars in WWE NXT in the recent past. He has won both the singles titles on the roster.
Speaking on an earlier edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T pointed out the Nigerian star had done a great job in NXT. The veteran added that Oba Femi had done everything he could have on the development brand, and it was about time he got called up to the main roster.
"I can tell you this. Oba has done a hell of a job in NXT. And if it's the time for him to move on, it's the right time. If he stays in NXT, what else is there for Oba Femi really to do? He’s dominated in NXT. He really has…I think Oba can definitely make a big splash on the main roster right now… I agree that he's done everything he could possibly do in NXT. I think it’s time to pull the trigger. I really do," he added.
Only time will tell what plans the wrestling promotion has in store for Oba Femi going forward.
