WWE Saturday Night's Main Event in Washington DC will take place in just two days, and it seems that while the show will be headlined by John Cena's final match, it will also see a major return. Despite not being part of the last Saturday Night's Main Event, it seems that Jesse Venture is making his return for this month's show. WrestleVotes reported that the Hall of Famer will once again be part of the final show of 2025. John Cena's final match has been promoted all year, and it will be the final time he wrestles for WWE, although it may not be his final appearance since Cena recently revealed that he has signed a deal to become an ambassador for WWE for the next five years. Saturday Night's Main Event will also be an exhibition event that will see several NXT stars taking on main roster names. Bayley is set to take on Sol Ruca, while Cody Rhodes wrestles Obe Femi, and AJ Styles and Dragon Lee vs Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater. This is WWE's final special event of 2025This is the final special event for the company in 2025 since Survivor Series: WarGames was the final premium live event. It seems that the company could be winding down heading into the festive season, with SmackDown set to take place on December 26, which is expected to be a pre-record. The following week, SmackDown is the day after New Year's Day, which means that it's expected to be a normal event as the company pushes towards The Royal Rumble. Interestingly, The Rumble isn't the first event of 2026, since Saturday Night's Main Event is planned to take place again on January 24, just a week before the roster heads to Saudi Arabia to kick off the Road to WrestleMania.
