John Cena is all set to bring down the curtain on his wrestling career this weekend at Saturday Night's Main Event. A recent report confirmed that a former 8-time WWE champion will be at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., for the show.
The Never Seen 17 will wrestle Gunther in his retirement match. Many popular stars from the past have reportedly been confirmed to show up at the event. According to PWInsider Elite, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is one of those names.
In addition to being one of the most iconic female wrestlers in the history of the Stamford-based wrestling promotion, Stratus has shared the ring with John Cena in the past. She teamed up with The Cenation Leader for mixed tag team matches on two separate occasions in 2006 and 2008.

For those unaware, Gunther returned to the WWE ring after three months to be a part of the Last Time is Now Tournament and fight for an opportunity to retire John Cena. After securing wins over Je'Von Evans, Carmelo Hayes, and Solo Sikoa in the earlier rounds, the former World Heavyweight Champion defeated LA Knight in the final.
WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash believes John Cena will win at Saturday Night's Main Event
Considering that Bill Goldberg lost his retirement match against Gunther on the July 12 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, many fans believe that The Ring General will emerge victorious against The Cenation Leader as well.
However, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has a completely contrasting opinion. On a recent edition of his Kliq THIS podcast, Big Daddy Cool stated that he does not see John Cena losing his last match.
"I don’t see John jobbing on his last match, so it doesn’t matter… I don’t go into this seeing John doing a job. So it’s just like... It’s saying goodbye to John. It’s like when Cal Ripken beat the streak that Gehrig had," Nash said.
Only time will tell what the wrestling promotion has in store for the legendary star's final in-ring appearance.
