Zelina Vega breaks silence after major non-WWE announcement

Zelina Vega has broken her silence following a major non-WWE announcement. The former Women's United States Champion was over the moon for a dear friend outside of pro wrestling.

In addition to being a WWE Superstar, Vega has also found her niche as a content creator and streamer. She recently collaborated with Cinna, training the popular streamer about pro wrestling.

The duo even got nominated for Best Streamed Collab at the 2025 Streamer Awards. They were up against Kai Cenat and LeBron James, PlaqueBoyMax and Fred Again, and Pokimane and Katseye. Cinna was also nominated for The Sapphire Award, which she won for the second year in a row.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Zelina Vega congratulated Cinna on her accomplishment.

"Aw! 🖤 congratulations mama, so so deserved @cinnabrit! #StreamerAwards2025," Vega tweeted.

As for the Best Streamed Collab award, Zelina Vega and Cinna lost out to Kai Cenat and LeBron James. While Vega is a popular WWE Superstar, James is quite possibly the most popular American athlete in the world.

Aleister Black and Zelina Vega to team up against The Terror Twins

The feud between Aleister Black and Damian Priest continued to intensify after Zelina Vega got involved a couple of months ago. Vega turned heel and aligned herself with her real-life husband, helping Black beat Priest in a Last Man Standing Match.

Priest attacked Black upon his return a few weeks later, leading to an upcoming mixed tag team match on the December 12 edition of SmackDown. The Archer of Infamy found an old partner in Rhea Ripley to aid him against Black and Vega.

While the Black-Priest feud is fresh, Ripley has history with Vega. Back at Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico, a babyface Zelina challenged a heel Rhea for the SmackDown Women's Championship. Despite all the efforts of the hometown star, The Eradicator survived to retain her title.

Fast forward to more than two years later, and the dynamic has changed, as Zelina is now a heel working with her husband. Meanwhile, Ripley is a babyface and is no longer part of The Judgment Day.
