WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso is a creative genius in and out of the ring. As it turns out, he made a surprising pitch for his WrestleMania XL match against his twin brother, Jey Uso, but the creative team turned down his request.

The Usos may be on the same page now, but things weren't looking good when they were on a collision course a year ago. Jey and Jimmy faced each other in a brother vs. brother match on Night One of WrestleMania 40.

The Yeet Man came out on top in a relatively short match, which failed to meet expectations. Jey Uso previously admitted they let the WWE Universe down and could have done more had there been no time constraints.

Speaking to Peter Rosenberg on his Cheap Heat Podcast, Jimmy Uso revealed that he originally pitched the idea of getting squashed by his twin brother, but WWE wasn't on board with the finish.

John Cena's last match opening SNME - Check out Why!

"When I found out the time, and brother had the (Lil) Wayne entrance, I said, ‘Bruh, let me get in there. Just kill me. Just duck, spear me, boom. Splash me, boom. One, two, three. We just get the hell up out of there. Squash match, what you think? They was like, ‘No, we need something. You gotta give them a little something.’ ‘Well, damn. If we give ‘em a little something, we letting the fans down, I feel.’ We can’t even cook the way y’all want us to cook, because we get nine whole minutes. They ain’t ready for it. I was like, ‘They ain’t ready for no squash bro. Duck, spear, kill me. One, two, three. Get the Wayne back in and start partying. Let’s go."

What's next for Jimmy Uso in WWE?

Jimmy Uso hasn't been seen on WWE television since Drew McIntyre defeated him in a No Disqualification Match on the October 24th episode of SmackDown.

He made a one-off appearance on the blue brand that night, accusing The Scottish Warrior of attacking Jacob Fatu.

Big Jim wanted to exact revenge, but ended up facing the wrath of McIntyre.

Meanwhile, the tension is mounting between Jey and Jimmy after the Yeet Man double-crossed his twin brother during the battle royal in his quest to become the World Heavyweight Champion.

With Survivor Series: WarGames fast approaching, it will be interesting to see if The Usos will work together against The Vision.
