WWE Superstars have to buy their family members tickets for the shows, says former star

WWE has undergone several changes following its merger with UFC in September 2023. A former star recently spoke about one of those major changes.

Former WWE Superstar Lana (aka CJ Perry) made an appearance on the latest edition of TMZ Sports' Inside The Ring. She spoke about her experience attending Survivor Series: WarGames in San Diego, California.

During the conversation, Lana revealed that she had to buy tickets to attend the shows despite being under a Legends contract with the Stamford-based promotion. The 40-year-old added that all the stars had to buy their family members tickets for the wrestling shows. She stressed that it was all because of TKO and not Triple H or anyone else in the WWE management.

"When TKO came on, a lot of these changes, like, you have to buy tickets. Everyone has to buy tickets. Liv had to get all the tickets for her whole family and everything. My husband had to buy to bring his whole family in at WrestleMania. It was $5,000. Had to buy for the suite. And it's all TKO. This isn't Hunter. This isn't Bruce," Lana said.

Lana added that she had no issues buying tickets because of her love for fellow wrestlers and wrestling in general. She added that her husband, Rusev, bought her the ticket every time she went to see him wrestle.

"I don't have a problem paying for tickets because I believe in these people. I believe in Liv Morgan. Of course I’m gonna buy a ticket for her return. I love her. I love wrestling in general. Of course we're gonna go see Miro. He's had to buy tickets numerous amounts of time. Every time I've gone to see Rusev, he's bought the ticket," Lana added. [H/T: Fightful Wrestling]

Lana pitches an intriguing storyline idea for her husband and two female WWE stars

Speaking on an earlier edition of TMZ Sports' Inside The Ring, Lana revealed that she loved romantic storylines in wrestling. The former AEW star claimed that had she been a writer in WWE, there would have been more "soap opera stories."

Lana added that she would have Rusev in a romantic storyline by now. She noted that it would be great for The Bulgarian Brute to be in a romantic storyline with either Nia Jax or Lash Legend or both of them.

"I love romantic storylines. Like if I was the person writing the shows, there would be more soap opera stories. And Rusev for sure would be in a romantic angle by now... I think it would be great for him to be in a romantic storyline with Nia Jax or Lash Legend. Maybe he could have a tag team, and he could be in a romantic storyline with both of them," Lana said.

Lana has stated on multiple occasions that she is open to returning to WWE and joining her husband, Rusev. It will be interesting to see if the wrestling promotion decides to bring her back.
