WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill was scheduled for a non-title match on this week’s episode of SmackDown. Instead of facing her opponent in the ring, Cargill launched a backstage ambush on Michin. The 36-year-old tried to fight back but was unsuccessful. Now, Mia Yim has said she is not going to just sit back.Yim took to X to let the former AEW star know she is very resilient. She highlighted that she always gets back up and is not done with The Storm just yet.“One thing about me.. I’m always going to stand back up and fight. #smackdown.”Yim got a match against Cargill after she was constantly looked down on and threatened by The Storm. This week, she was doing a short backstage promo while entering the arena when the WWE Women’s Champion attacked her.Following this, Jade Cargill entered the ring and took the mic, saying she will step on everybody who steps up to her authority. Just then, Michin’s music started to play, and the beaten-up wrestler made her way into the arena with a kendo stick.Cargill tried to attack Yim once again, but got hit with the kendo stick instead. Michin enjoyed a short amount of control over the WWE Women’s Champion, after which she thought she could bring a table into play to punish her. However, this delay allowed Cargill to recover and take Yim down a second time.Jade Cargill credits Bianca Belair and NaomiJade Cargill recently appeared on Going Ringside, where she highlighted that she credits Bianca Belair and Naomi for her rise in WWE. Cargill worked alongside The Glow and The EST last year. She said:“You know, I would have never been positioned in a better way working with two great women at the time. I can’t speak on Naomi right now. But I think being positioned with those two women and working with them as us being the Big Three, I would have never got a better opportunity. And I think being under those two taught me a lot as far as entering a whole new industry, well, company, and, getting on the fast track.” Dubbed the Big Three, the trio defeated Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane at WrestleMania XL. The storyline later saw The Glow backstabbing The Storm and turning heel, which was done to give Cargill time to recover from an injury. However, Naomi’s heel turn gained a lot of appreciation from fans.Bianca Belair was temporarily taken out of the storyline after she was injured at WrestleMania 41, just a month after Jade Cargill returned. WWE tried to give Naomi an independent push, thanks to her impressive work as a heel by making her cash in for the Women’s World Championship. However, she had to relinquish the title when she announced her pregnancy and is on maternity leave right now. Thus, Jade Cargill is the only active member of the Big Three in WWE right now. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the WWE Women’s Champion. If you take quotes from the second half of the article, credit Going Ringside and give an H/T to Sportskeeda Wrestling.
