WWE's women's roster is chock-full of talented Superstars battling week in and week out for championship glory. We're a year into the era of women's mid-card titles, which have given varying results. One SmackDown star, who hovered around the Women's US Championship, has given herself a new title.

Back in November 2024, it was announced that we'd see the debut of the Women's United States Title. Twelve Superstars competed in four triple threat matches, with the winners advancing to two one-on-one bouts. At Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14, 2024, Chelsea Green defeated Michin to become the inaugural champion.

While Green has now captured the title a record two times, Michin has yet to win it once. Not for a lack of trying, as Michin challenged both Green and Giulia for the gold throughout the year. While she's yet to achieve her goal, the 36-year-old Superstar isn't giving up. She took to Instagram this week, labeling herself a familiar name in the world of sports.

"Underdog. #wwe #smackdown #bigmeech #hardcoreprincess"

While she's yet to win her first WWE title, Michin's only been a few seconds away. And she's beaten some of the absolute best the promotion has to offer in her run.

Michin has picked up several key victories over some of WWE's best

If you weren't an NXT viewer between 2018 and 2020, you missed Michin's entire run before she was moved to the main roster for Retribution (sorry for bringing that up). Then known as Mia Yim, she was one of the top stars on the brand.

Again, she never won a title, but she did pick feuds with some of today's absolute best, and even beat them square in the middle of the ring. The reason she calls herself the "Hardcore Princess" is because of her willingness to put her opponents and herself through some brutal wars. Candice LeRae, Bianca Belair, Raquel Rodriguez, and more have been on the wrong side of Michin's ire.

Even Chelsea Green, the woman who beat Michin for the Women's United States Championship, has felt her wrath, losing to Michin in a dumpster match months before the US Title Tournament.

Much like other great WWE underdogs like Rey Mysterio and Sami Zayn, Michin's got what it takes to make it to the top. Hopefully, 2026 will be her year.
