WWE Superstar Jordynne Grace shared some unfortunate news back in August, revealing that her husband and fellow pro wrestler Jonathan Gresham had suffered not one, but two strokes. Later that month, they'd revealed that he'd made a full recovery and was on his way back to the ring. Now, the Octopus is set for his return!

Grace and Gresham are both incredible competitors in their own right. While Jordynne is a true powerhouse and overall beast in the ring, Jonathan Gresham is a master technician. A former ROH Pure and World Champion, Gresham's specialty is submissions. During his dominant ROH run, Gresh was known for making opponents tap out to different holds each match, making his bouts that much more exciting. You never knew what could end it.

On August 7th, Gresham suffered two strokes, possibly onset by a bad bout with COVID. On August 24th, Jordynne Grace confirmed he'd fully recovered. Four months later, and we now know when the Octopus will be back in the ring.

Jersey Championship Wrestling has also revealed that Jonathan Gresham will be competing for them in the Jersey J-Cup, also known as the Chris Candido Memorial Cup, after the late great Chris Candido, on February 6th and 7th. Gresham's competed in the tournament twice now.

WWE's Juggernaut QT'd the announcement, with a simple yet loving statement.

"He's back <3," said Grace

Grace and Gresham have been incredibly supportive of one another over the years. Recently, Grace responded to someone asking why Gresham hadn't been signed yet, stating simply, "2026." With the Octopus finally back at 100%, we'd love to see him pop back up in TNA Wrestling or possibly even WWE.

Whatever happens, the future is bright for Jonathan Gresham.
