Last year, Malik Blade and Edris Enofe were a tag team in the Stamford-based promotion under Shawn Michaels' creative leadership. While two were a commendable tag team, Blade and Enofe never got the opportunity to hold championship gold as a duo.

In May, Malik Blade appeared on the rebooted brand, Evolve, and announced his singles journey, ending his team with Enofe. Recently, Blade had his first match for the promotion in over a year at a house show for the developmental brand following his ACL injury.

Malik Blade's former WWE partner has left the company

In 2021, Edris Enofe signed with the Stamford-based promotion and joined the developmental brand under Shawn Michaels' leadership. Enofe teamed up with Malik Blade, and the two became a credible tag team in the division. The two slowly moved up the ranks and became a notable unit on WWE NXT.

However, the two often had good matches, but never won gold in the promotion. In September 2025, Enofe revealed that he's leaving the company. The star was moved to Evolve in his final months and was often seen in the championship scene.
