Future WWE Hall of Fame group the New Day pulled off one of the most abhorrent acts in the promotion's history on this day last year.

On Monday Night RAW back on December 2, 2024, The New Day came together to celebrate their tenth anniversary. Big E had been out of in-ring action for over two years at that point, following a career-ending neck injury in 2022. During the segment, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, who seemed to be butting heads throughout the year, snapped. But not at one another.

The pair threw Big E, not physically, out of the group, claiming that he had already abandoned them for a "cushy desk position." Since then, the pair have captured their 13th WWE Tag Team Title, while E continues to work pre- and post-PLE shows and other media opportunities for the promotion. The USA Network reminded WWE fans of the betrayal on Instagram today, opening up that wound for fans around the world. But a certain Aussie star celebrated the act.

Grayson Waller threw up a celebratory hands emoji in the comments, and we're pretty sure he's not honoring their 11-year anniversary.

Unfortunately for the future Hall of Famers, they weren't able to celebrate a 14th title reign.

The New Day failed to regain the WWE World Tag Titles on Monday Night RAW

Back in June, the New Day lost the WWE World Tag Team Titles to the Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on Monday Night RAW. Since then, the pair have been mourning the tag division and petitioning for a tag title match.

While they never got their rematch with Balor and JD, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston wound up in a title bout against the new champions, Dragon Lee and AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One earned his second WWE World Title with Lee back in October, and the pair even defeated the Judgment Day in a rematch last month.

On Monday Night RAW last night, the New Day finally had their chance to get their titles back and kickstart their 14th run on top of the tag division. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defeated the legendary duo in an incredible match, ending in a double stomp-Styles Clash combo that left fans in awe. However, it may not be over, as Kofi Kingston has accused a referee of favoritism.
