A current WWE SmackDown star was teased for a potential championship win in TNA. The two promotions have been in an official partnership since January, with talents crossing over between NXT and TNA.There are several former TNA stars in the WWE main roster today. One of those talents is Chris Sabin of the Motor City Machine Guns. Sabin is a one-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, a 10-time TNA X Division Champion and a three-time TNA Tag Team Champion.In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, reigning TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater shared the fact about Sabin being a 10-time X Division Champion. Slater then teased the possibility of defending the title against Sabin, who could be interested in another X Division championship run."Wonder if he could get an 11th," Slater tweeted. Leon Slater has been making appearances in NXT over the past few months since winning the X Division Championship. Slater recently teamed up with Je'Von Evans and tried to earn the NXT Tag Team Titles from DarkState. As Slater was celebrating his title win, TNA legend AJ Styles made his return to the promotion he built his name in.It was Styles' first appearance in TNA since leaving in 2014. The Phenomenal One put over Slater as the future of the promotion, paving the way for the next wave of TNA stars. Styles became a household name in TNA, starting out in the X Division before becoming a main eventer in the late 2000s. He left in 2014, moving to Japan before signing with WWE in 2016. He's set to retire next year, announcing his decision at Crown Jewel: Perth.
