WWE has been making headlines with its PLEs, and heading internationally for several events has become a regular occurrence now. The company is set to host next year's Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, and fans have been quite excited for it. Now, reports suggest that one more PLE could be hosted internationally in the upcoming year.

According to recent updates from Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, the company plans to host one PLE next year in Italy. Nick Khan recently hinted that a deal to confirm things was close, and more updates are expected in the near future.

The report also states that the planned PLE, to be hosted in Italy on May 31, would be the one right after WrestleMania 42. Because WWE typically hosts Backlash right after the Grandest Stage of Them All, Italy could be the home for next year's edition of WrestleMania Backlash.

The Stamford-based company appears to be working ahead of time. While Royal Rumble 2026 is a few weeks away, the company has reportedly already made plans for the PLE.

According to recent reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company's current plan is to feature four matches: two traditional Rumble matches and two title matches. While things aren't confirmed yet, time will tell what the company has in store for the PLE.
