WWE is set to host the 41st edition of Saturday Night's Main Event this week. The show will emanate from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, on November 1, 2025, and is scheduled to feature some prominent and exciting matches. All bouts announced for the show will see a title being defended, making it an exciting watch.

However, one question that's bothering many fans heading into the event is that only four matches have been announced for it so far, making it a shorter event than usual. Dr. Chris Featherstone and Hall of Fame journalist Bill Apter discussed the same on the latest episode of UnSKripted on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge.

Featherstone seemed puzzled by the shorter match card and questioned Apter about it. Apter speculated that it might've been done because WWE expects one of the matches to go for longer than usual. The Hall of Famer expects either the Triple Threat Match between Dominik Mysterio, Penta, and Rusev or Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes to cross the 30-minute mark.

"Maybe one match will be, maybe the Dominik match or the Drew McIntyre-Cody match will be a long match. One of them will be at least 30 minutes," Bill Apter said.

WWE might still add another match to the Saturday Night's Main Event card

Like most premium live events during Triple H's regime, Saturday Night's Main Event also usually hosts five matches. However, only four matches have been announced for this week's edition, leaving fans puzzled about the shorter card. It is interesting to note that there's one episode of SmackDown left before SNME.

Triple H could end up adding another match or segment on Friday Night SmackDown, which has often been the case. Meanwhile, the four matches are expected to be a promising affair. In addition to Cody and Dominik's matches, CM Punk and Jey Uso are set to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship, and Jade Cargill will challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women's Title.
