Ava has had a busy night so far. She just made a new announcement on a WWE show tonight.Several weeks ago, Ava made the blockbuster announcement that both the men's and women's Speed Titles were going to be part of the NXT brand. Since then, there have been tournaments to determine who will challenge for the title. This resulted in Jasper Troy winning the Speed Title from El Grande Americano. It looks like WWE is planning his next challenger.Tonight on NXT, The Rock's daughter was backstage with Jasper Troy, and she informed him that next week will kickstart another Speed Tournament to determine who will be next to challenge him for the title. She also noted that they have picked a diverse group of talent for the tournament."Next week is the start of another men's Speed tournament. Stone and I have been working together and we've put together a really diverse group of talent and it could be a really exciting tournament."Ava was forced to intervene at the start of NXT tonightJe'Von Evans chose to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT Title last week on NXT instead of waiting till New Year's Evil for his match. Evans had the match won. However, Ricky Saints turned heel and pulled the referee out of the ring. This distraction allowed Oba to recover and defeat the Young OG.Therefore, Je'Von Evans was frustrated with Ricky's actions from last week, and he was waiting for him in the parking lot at the start of the show. Ava met him in the parking lot and asked him to go inside the arena as the first match was about to start. However, the Young OG refused to do so, and the NXT GM walked away.It remains to be seen if the NXT GM will make any more major announcements tonight.
