WWE looking into Becky Lynch's claim regarding former WWE star abusing their power

Becky Lynch has been at the top of WWE for several years now. The Man main evented WrestleMania with Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey over six years ago, over half a decade of dominance. And yet, even Lynch was nearly caught in a trap regarding a former WWE Superstar abusing their power, a claim that the company has taken seriously.

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins were both guests on Something's Burning with Bert Kreischer a few weeks ago. While they got into a range of topics, including their marriage, their time at the top of WWE, and other comments that led to a completely different controversy, it was a statement made about a former Superstar's abuse of power that turned the wrestling world upside down.

Despite Bert attempting to get a name out of them, neither Becky nor Seth broke. And it seems that WWE is doing their part to discover the culprit, though they're not having much luck.

A report from Fightful Select states that they've asked over two dozen wrestlers about who Becky Lynch could be referring to. So far, none of them has claimed to know who it is. It was also implied that WWE is working on its own internal investigation, but there have been no updates at this point.

Becky Lynch's original comments regarding this former WWE Superstar

During Something's Burning with Bert Kreischer, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch had a meal with the highly acclaimed comedian, going through several different topics. Regarding the claim that a former Superstar had abused his power to get female stars to sleep with him, Lynch stated she wasn't going to name names, though it appeared that Rollins also knew who it was.

"There was a guy on the main roster and they were like, 'be careful, because one, he'll try to sleep with you. And if he sleeps with you, he'll blacklist you. And then if he tries to sleep with you and you don't sleep with him, he'll also blacklist you."

Kreischer joked that it was Cody Rhodes, which got a big laugh from Rollins and Lynch, but it obviously wasn't the American Nightmare, as Rollins even confirmed that Cody was gone at the time this had happened. Lynch said Kreischer definitely knew him, and she was terrified when he eventually got his number.

WWE has been embroiled in sexual controversies in recent years, specifically regarding the Vince McMahon allegations. Thankfully, they seem to be taking Lynch's words to heart.
