WWE Superstar John Cena is at the tail end of his professional wrestling career. After Cena, another legendary name is set to retire from in-ring competition next year. The name in question is AJ Styles. Even in his final appearance as an in-ring performer, John Cena wanted to put the spotlight on up-and-coming wrestling stars. Thanks to John, NXT star Je'Von Evans and current TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater got the opportunity to show their skills at Saturday Night's Main Event.Slater and Evans teamed up to lock horns with the current World Tag Team Champions, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. All of the stars involved in the match put on an incredible display of action inside the squared circle, and for the most part, it was a back-and-forth affair.In the last stages of the bout, it seemed like Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater would emerge victorious, especially after Styles' massive botch. However, The Phenomenal One turned around the match in his team's favor. As Slater jumped off the top of the turnbuckle, AJ caught him mid-air and hit his opponent with the Styles Clash. The GOAT is set to face Gunther in his final match. However, after Cena, AJ Styles is set to hang up his wrestling boots. The Phenomenal One revealed a few months ago that he has decided to retire from wrestling in 2026. Several reports suggest that the Triple H-led creative team is planning a John Cena-esque retirement tour for Styles next year. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for AJ.
