Speaking on KTAR News’ Outspoken with Bruce and Gaydos, Bella said she was constantly thinking about storylines and how she could interfere while she was away from WWE. She also said she needed Nikki Bella back after motherhood, and she was happy to return at a really good time.

The former two-time Divas Champion said she was initially brought back for three months, but her tenure has been extended to a year and will go even longer.

"I think this is pretty much any professional sport, but definitely wrestling. It never leaves you. We always say why do we use the term at times retirement because it's just once you have that in you always crave it, whether it's when you're working out you're already. I'm always thinking of storylines and like how how can I interfere even when I was off and I had a newborn baby I was like how can I make a comeback and you know it ended up being the most perfect time and a time that I needed it I felt like you know, motherhood at times you could kind of lose yourself in all the best ways you know you should become so selfless. And it was a perfect time to be like, I need to find out who, like, I need her to be back. And Nikki Bell is the one that brings me back. And it's been it was supposed to be 3 months, and now it's been a year, and it's going to go even longer, and it's been incredible. I have just loved it."

Nikki Bella turned heel ahead of the 2025 Survivor Series and challenged Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at the premium live event. The former two-time Divas Champion wanted to regain control of the women’s division in the post-Divas era but failed to overcome La Primera.

Nikki Bella now has two WWE Superstars on her s**t list

Following her defeat at Survivor Series, Nikki Bella interrupted Stephanie Vaquer’s promo on this week’s episode of WWE RAW. She demanded a rematch for the Women’s World Championship before being taken out by Raquel Rodriguez.

Rodriguez further disrespected Bella by sweeping her feet on the floor next to the motionless body of the WWE Hall of Famer. Sharing a video clip of the incident on her Instagram stories, the 42-year-old noted that she now has two people on her s**t list - Rodriguez and Vaquer.

It’s clear that Bella still has her eyes on the Women’s World Championship. Interestingly, Liv Morgan has also returned to WWE now, and she could settle her score with The Miracle Kid as well. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for her.
